We have arrived
Posted: April 9, 2008 Well after a long day and a half of traveling we finally arrived in Israel around 3 pm their time. Everyone was tired but we were ready to go so we set out for our first hike. We spent the rest of the daylight hiking to a location of an old city called Gezer that has just recently been excavated in the last 40 years. It is amazing to be standing in a location that King Solomon most likely spent time and to be able to open the Bible and began to read it in context. Anyway more to come but make sure you click here to see pictures from our trip as well as watch the slide shows bellow. We are also going to try and post some of the talks that we have recorded as well. Take care and hopefully we will have calling cards in the next few days so the students can call home.

Oh my gosh!!! Jenna and I cant believe you are really there and we are seeing pictures of you just a few hours later!!! I (Mom) cried. Oh, Jenna cried too. Jenna wishes she had been able to hide in your luggage.
Awesome photos! Keep it up. We will be checking in daily. Love the commentary Rich!
