Testimonials
Brent Graciano JWI Class of 2007
"This trip changed my life. I will never read the bible in the same way. It's been such an awesome thing to read a passage from the word and actually see it in my mind. It was an awesome experience that I will never forget."
Nathan Davis JWI Class of 2007
"I have stood upon the shores of Galilee where Jesus called His disciples, I have walked the city walls that David walked in times of trouble, and I have even waded in the water where John baptized the Lord Jesus. As a result of this trip, I have been overwhelmingly hit with the realization that what this book called the Bible says is true."
Laurie Dixon Mom
"When my son was accepted into the Joshua program and they said they were tentatively planning a trip to Israel I will admit I wasn't thrilled. Personal safety and the cost of such a trip caused me to contemplate the real value of such a venture, but through many phone calls from an excited student of the Old Testament, I realized that Israel was the perfect conclusion to solidify all that he had learned at Joshua. I could have never imagined the impact the experience would have on him and our family. Watching the students raise their support and seeing the many ways God provided was a huge lesson in itself but the trip was to be the best lesson for all. Walking through Israel and reading the scripture that took place on the very ground they were standing on made the Bible more than just a book to be studied...it came alive. I learned things about the Bible from looking at my sons pictures of Israel that I never learned in 40 years of Sunday school. Our whole family looks at the Bible differently now. When the Joshua students finished their year they were asked what was one thing you wouldn't leave out for next year's group and as a parent I would have to say Israel."
