Israel: Shabot Shalom

Today we embarked on three marvelous hiking adventures. The first hike was the famous Masada. Then we hiked to the spring in En Gedi. Our last hike drove home the idea of what Joshua’s real purpose is. Qumran is the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.

We boarded the troop transports, Bus 1 and Bus 2 which have the bare necessities such as AC and water, and headed to Beth Shemesh. We arrived in Beth Shemesh and Brad Bell spoke on Samson.

Our journey to the Holy Land began yesterday morning with a drive to the airport, check in, and security. We hiked along the hill and then stopped at city gate ruins from Solomonic times. We all sat around and listed to Rich speak about the area, the ruins, and life lessons to take from the site.
