Day 2 of Street Evangelism (recap from last night)
Samantha and Keeley, reporting straight from the Tropicana Hotel in Sin City. Our second night of street evangelism was welcomed with mixed feelings. I (Samantha) was nervous about going out again and not really wanting to at all. My partner Michael and I have a good time while we are street evangelizing but the start of the evening was slow. Even with a slow start, we were somewhat excited to have an opportunity to share the Good News. We had some good conversations, and one awesome one that we will mention later… Click here to see photos from Vegas
I (Keeley) felt a little more prepared for what was coming. Since Brandon and I had already faced some rejection the night before, it was easier to get started. One of our first encounters was with an older gentleman who was agnostic. We were able to share the Gospel with him and hear what he believed, as well as listen to his story.
Towards the latter end of the night, the four of us ran into each other and started to debrief a bit. Two guys happened to run past us during those minutes, one with his face bashed in and the other yelling directions at him while running down the road towards oncoming traffic. We had somewhat forgotten about them when they came back around, walking towards us. Brandon and Michael stopped them and began asking them questions. Christianity was quickly brought up, and we all proceeded to have a three hour conversation with them. One was previously a Christian, while the other was more aware but searching for the Truth. Both were of course hammered but started to sober up during our conversation. The one rededicated his life, with Brandon praying over him, while the other got an earful of the Truth. It was an awesome God-experience and was the highlight of our night. The guys are planning on staying in contact and doing some follow-up with them. All in all, it was another epic night in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Loved reading your post!! Vegas is a hard place, and we have been fasting breakfast and lunch since Friday for the group.
