Joshua Graduation

Believe it or not, Graduation is just around the corner. As you’re beginning to plan, we’d like to get you all of the information that we have available. Graduation will be on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 2pm-4pm. Graduation will be held in the Ponderosa Chapel, so there is plenty of room for all of your family and friends that would like to come hear about your student’s year and see Hume Lake.

As a special treat for Joshua families, we have reserved as many rooms as we could in the Hume lodges for Friday and Saturday nights of that weekend, at the reduced rate of $110/night (regularly $180/night). The first night’s stay is required as the non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. Two reservations per Joshua student while reserved rooms are available. Reservations are open for booking starting February 16, 2018!

If you are staying in a lodge room, meals are available in Ponderosa Dining in the staff/guest line, if you choose to eat meals in Ponderosa Dining. You will receive the summer staff family discount rate (if your student is with you) of $4.00/Breakfast; $4.75/Lunch; $6.75/Dinner. Child rates are $3.00/Breakfast; $3.75 Lunch; $4.75/Dinner. The Ponderosa Pizza & Pizookie and Snack Shop are also fun dining experiences!

You can reserve a room by calling our Welcome Center at 559-305-7770. Make your reservations early because space is limited.

Also just one final reminder that even though Graduation is August 11th, Joshua students will be working though their signed commitment of the end of camp, August 18th, unless their school starts earlier and they have made arrangements with their department supervisor(s) and Joshua staff.

We look forward to seeing you all in August!

May the Lord richly bless you all as you step out into the next chapter of your lives — the place we call “…where Joshua begins.” On behalf of the entire staff, thanks for enriching our lives!
