Believe it or not, Graduation is just around the corner. It is amazing how fast time goes by as it seems like just yesterday the students were moving into the building and starting this adventure called Joshua. As you’re beginning to plan your trip up, we’d like to remind you of some of the details about graduation. Graduation will be Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 2pm-4pm. Graduation will be held in the Ponderosa Chapel, so there is plenty of room for all of your family and friends that would like to come hear about your student’s year and see Hume Lake.
Meals are available in Ponderosa Dining in the staff/guest line, for $10/day for adults and $5/day for children. Immediate family can receive the summer staff family discount rate of $3.00/Breakfast, $3.50/Lunch, $5.00/Dinner. Child rates are $1.90/Breakfast, $2.25 Lunch, $2.75/Dinner. The Hume Deli and Snack Shop are also fun dining experiences!
At this point all Hume lodge rooms are booked for the weekend so if you are needing housing you will want to make other arrangements.
Also just one final reminder that even though Graduation is August 10, Joshua students will be working though their signed commitment of the end of camp, August 17, unless their school starts earlier and they have made arrangements with their bosses and Joshua staff.
