Believe it or not, Graduation is just around the corner. As you’re beginning to plan, we’d like to get you all of the information that we have available. Graduation will be Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 2pm-4pm. Graduation will be held in the Ponderosa Chapel, so there is plenty of room for all of your family and friends that would like to come hear about your student’s year and see Hume Lake.
As a special treat for Joshua families, we have reserved as many rooms as we could in the Hume lodges for Friday and Saturday nights of that weekend, at the reduced rate of $90/night (regularly $155/night).
These rooms will be available for rent starting February 28th.
If renting a lodge room, meals are available in Ponderosa Dining in the staff/guest line, for $10/day for adults and $5/day for children. If you choose to only eat certain meals in Ponderosa Dining, you will receive the summer staff family discount rate of $3.00/Breakfast (included with your room if you’re in a lodge), $3.50/Lunch, $5.00/Dinner. Child rates are $1.90/Breakfast, $2.25 Lunch, $2.75/Dinner. The Hume Deli and Snack Shop are also fun dining experiences! You can reserve a room by calling a Registrar at 559-305-7770, and call soon if you’d like to stay, because space is limited.
Also just one final reminder that even though Graduation is August 10, Joshua students will be working though their signed commitment of the end of camp, August 17, unless their school starts earlier and they have made arrangements with their bosses and Joshua staff.
We look forward to seeing you in August

Thank you to the entire Joshua Staff! This past year has been a great experience for our son Matthew. We love the JWI year book and the bound collection of Matthew’s WIR writings, which gives us a deeper understanding of what he encountered during the program. Since we live overseas we did not have the privilege of meeting you guys in person, but we’ve prayed for you, and we’re thankful for the investment that you make in the lives of so many young people. May God continually give you His guidance and direction as you follow Christ.
