Hello, we are going to write you a blog. Today is the second day of our tour in Israel and we stopped at a ton of different places today, but we are just gonna talk about a few of the things that impacted us today. One of the coolest parts of the day, was being able to climb to the top of Azekah , and look out over the valley where David killed Goliath. It is so crazy to think that we are actually here in Israel, and that this is all real. It was kind of gnarly to think about David simply shepherding on the hillside with his sheep spending time with God and learning to trust Him. Rich’s biggest lesson he has been teaching us this year is how to be good in the little things. This seemed kind of unimportant at first to me, especially when we first heard it, but as the year goes on it is becoming more apparent that the big things all stem from being faithful in the little stuff. David’s life seems to really show this as true, like building blocks, God took him through lots of stuff to prepare him for later. We are currently in the Negev desert heading south to the Dead Sea, and we are really excited to see what God is going to teach us in the next 10 days.
