The days are counting down here at Joshua and I know every student can see the light at the end of the tunnel. As negative as the saying sounds I know the tunnel has been one of growth. Our year took us places we never thought God had in store. Through personal trials and friction between the students, all of us grew.
Community is what sheds light on who we are, while God uses the people around you to reveal things you never knew about yourself—like my snoring problem.
One of our last weekly speakers told us a truth that I know took my experience here and gave it application. He said everything that we’ve learned at Joshua is not for personal gain but for us to give away.
“Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required,
and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.”
As we’re sent off into the world our prayers are for continual devotion to our God. We’ve learned to serve with intentions to glorify His name. The discipline learned has brought us to an understanding of responsibility and our impact it has on others and how we represent Christ.
